First dedicated data engineer at an early-stage Manchester company building a new digital services platform, reporting to the CTO. Owns the data platform end to end: batch/streaming pipelines, warehouse/lakehouse modelling and governance for financial and regulatory reporting, using SQL, Python, dbt, Airflow/Spark and cloud warehouses like Snowflake, BigQuery or Redshift.
Salary: £65,000 - 80,000 per year Requirements: Commercial experience delivering and supporting production data pipelines and warehouses, with at least two years of production experience building them. Strong SQL skills and proficiency in Python or another relevant programming language. Experience with modern data engineering tools such as dbt, Airflow or Spark.
