AES Global has partnered with a leading non-profit organisation on a mission to help South Africans on the ground through a ground-breaking, cloud-native platform (even featured in a Google Cloud case study). We’re looking for an exceptional Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and optimise their data solutions.

You’ll: Architect and maintain large-scale data pipelines and storage solutions. Work across real-time & batch environments (My SQL, Big Query, Composer, Python). Ensure data quality, integrity, and availability for business insights. Collaborate with analysts, developers, and business leaders to deliver impactful solutions.

You have: 8+ years’ experience in data engineering. Advanced SQL & Python skills. ETL experience (Apache Beam/Spark, SSIS). Cloud expertise (Google Cloud or AWS preferred). A passion for purpose-driven tech that changes lives.

You’ll work in an agile, innovative, and collaborative environment where your data solutions directly contribute to solving one of SA’s biggest challenges.
