Senior Data Engineer at Ampowr. About the role We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to enhance our Energy Management System (EMS) and establish a dependable software framework. In this position, you will oversee the data transfer from our on-site EMS to the cloud and work closely with the Data Science team to implement Machine Learning models within the cloud environment.

What you'll do
- Manage the data pipeline from the on-site EMS to cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate with Data Science professionals to integrate Machine Learning models into the cloud platform.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong understanding of data modeling and ETL processes.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark.
