We are seeking a Senior Data Engineering and Analytics Consultant. The role focuses on understanding stakeholder requirements and delivering BI reports and analytical solutions using our data stack consisting of a data lake (AWS S3), data warehouse (Snowflake + DBT) and visualization layer (Power BI). Collaboration with business architecture is crucial to align data models with business processes.

Examples of Activities

• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.

• Set up and manage data pipelines using ingestor microservices and AWS S3.

• Build data products in Snowflake with DBT.

• Collaborate with business architects to ensure data models reflect business needs.

• Create and manage applications for manual data management in Airtable.

As a Data Engineering and Analytics Consultant, you will:

• Take over and manage ongoing data engineering and analysis projects.

• Working closely with business stakeholders, building relationships and trust.

• Collect data from multiple sources, package them into data products and create BI reports to provide business insights.

• Ensure data models and reports accurately represent business processes.

• Collaborate with the team to improve and maintain the analytical data stack.
  

Role

• Data Expertise: Proven experience in data engineering and analytics, specializing in BI reporting. Experience with data mesh is a plus.

• Technical Skills: AWS S3, Snowflake, DBT and Power BI - or similar tools. Experience with some backend is a plus.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Ability to gather and translate business requirements into data solutions.

• Data Modeling: Skilled in mapping business processes and terminology into data models.

• Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills for effective collaboration.
