About the role
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with strong experience in Azure cloud technologies, particularly Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Functions, and Data Modeling (L3). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing scalable data solutions, building serverless data processing pipelines, and implementing robust data models that support enterprise analytics and operational workloads.
Key responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable data engineering solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform.
Implement and optimize data storage solutions using Azure Cosmos DB, including partitioning strategies, indexing policies, and performance tuning.
Develop and maintain Azure Functions for event-driven and serverless data processing workflows.
Design logical and physical data models to support business requirements, reporting, analytics, and application integration.
Build and manage data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration pipelines.
Ensure data quality, integrity, security, and governance across the data ecosystem.
Collaborate with solution architects, application developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand data requirements.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot data-related issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
Implement best practices for scalability, performance optimization, and cost management within Azure services.
Create and maintain technical documentation, data dictionaries, and design specifications.
