Senior Data Engineer
Summary
Build and optimize Snowflake-based data pipelines and warehouses using dbt, Airflow, and Python to deliver clean, reliable data for analytics and reporting.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 8+ years of dedicated data engineering or data warehousing experience.
- Snowflake Expertise: Strong command of Snowflake architecture, resource monitors, zero-copy cloning, and time travel.
- SQL & Programming: Advanced SQL writing skills (window functions, complex joins, query profiles) alongside intermediate Python for automation.
- Modern Tooling: Hands-on experience with dbt and cloud orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, Prefect).
- Cloud Platforms: Working knowledge of at least one major cloud ecosystem (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Version Control: Familiarity with Git workflows and CI/CD deployment pipelines.
