Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
Build and manage scalable data solutions using Python, Databricks, AWS, and Azure.
Ensure data quality, consistency, reliability, and performance across data workflows.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective data solutions.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver actionable insights.
Support the development and maintenance of Power BI reports and dashboards.
Identify opportunities to automate processes and improve data engineering workflows.
Explore and contribute to the adoption of AI-driven solutions and innovative technologies.
Troubleshoot technical issues and continuously improve existing data architectures and processes.
Share technical knowledge and contribute to best practices within the team.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Senior Data Engineer or in a similar hands-on data engineering role.
Strong experience designing and implementing ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines.
Solid programming skills in Python.
Experience working with Databricks and cloud platforms, particularly AWS and/or Azure.
Experience with Power BI, including data analysis, reporting, and dashboard development.
Strong understanding of data modelling, data integration, and data quality principles.
Ability to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
Experience communicating and collaborating with business stakeholders.
A proactive, analytical, and problem-solving mindset.
Interest in AI, automation, and emerging technologies.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
