Designs and builds scalable AWS-based data pipelines and warehouses to feed analytics and reporting, using SQL, Spark, and ETL tools.
We are seeking a Senior Specialist – Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing scalable data pipelines and data platforms that support enterprise-wide analytics and decision-making. You will ensure all data solutions comply with architectural standards, governance frameworks, and security policies, while partnering closely with business and technology stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance data pipelines and architectures.
- Implement best practices for data integration, data warehousing, and reporting.
- Build and manage infrastructure for efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) using AWS and SQL-based technologies.
- Develop APIs and data tools to support analytics, reporting, and downstream data consumers.
- Automate data processes to improve operational efficiency and scalability.
- Ensure data governance, security, and regulatory compliance in collaboration with Information Security teams.
- Perform root-cause analysis on data issues and recommend long-term improvements to data systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business Commerce, Information Studies, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience
- 5–7 years of hands‑on experience in data engineering.
- Proven experience building and maintaining databases, data warehouses, and data integration solutions.
- Strong experience with SQL, PL/SQL, Spark, and modern data pipeline tools.
- Demonstrated ability to optimize big data architectures and develop APIs.
- Solid understanding of data engineering principles, integration patterns, and performance optimization.
- Advanced expertise in Data Engineering and data pipeline development.
- Strong knowledge of data integrity, big data frameworks, and modern data architectures.
- Broad IT knowledge with the ability to manage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
