Senior Data Engineer
Summary
Senior Data Engineer designing and implementing scalable data warehouse and data engineering solutions, managing data schemas, SQL tuning, and code reviews using Azure, Snowflake, Kafka, DBT, and Python.
Job Purpose:
Design and implement scalable data engineering and data warehouse solutions while managing data schemas, SQL query tuning, and code reviews.
Who You Are:
- 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, with strong knowledge of Data Platforms and Data Warehousing
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with SSAS Tabular Models
- Experience designing data ingestion and orchestration pipelines using Kafka, Snowflake, and Python
- Hands-on experience with DBT for data modeling and pipeline development
- Strong knowledge of SQL, ETL/ELT, Azure Data Factory, APIs, Azure Functions, and Azure Storage
- Experience with BI tools such as Power BI and ThoughtSpot
- Proficient in SSAS and DAX
- Experience designing Data Warehouse and analytics solutions
- Good understanding of Data Lake concepts and structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and ownership skills
