About the role
We are hiring a Senior Data Engineer (Azure) to join a large-scale public sector digital programme in Singapore. You will work within a multi-disciplinary delivery team building and running mission-critical public-facing systems on Azure.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes
- Perform data modelling and quality management
- Integrate multiple data sources
- Support analytics and reporting
What you will bring
- Minimum 5 years in data platforms; projects of 1,000+ man-days; technical-lead experience
- SQL
- Python
- Azure Data Factory/Synapse/Data Lake
- Spark
- ETL/ELT tools
- Data modelling
- Basic Power BI
- Git
- CI/CD
Qualifications & certifications
- Degree/Diploma in CS, Data Science or related
- Azure Data Engineer certifications preferred
Work arrangement
- Location: Singapore, on-site at client premises
- Employment type: Contract / Permanent / Full Time
- Working days: Monday to Friday
- The successful candidate must be able to obtain the required government security clearance before starting
- Candidates with existing CAT security clearance will be preferred
