Senior Data Engineer responsible for building and supporting scalable, enterprise-grade data platforms using modern Azure and Microsoft Fabric technologies.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop end-to-end data engineering solutions and scalable data pipelines.
- Build and manage data ingestion, transformation, and integration workflows.
- Develop data models and implement Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Delta Lake, and Medallion Architecture solutions.
- Implement CDC and incremental data loading strategies.
- Optimize database queries, stored procedures, data pipelines, and overall platform performance.
- Manage CI/CD, Git-based deployments, troubleshooting, and production support.
- Ensure data quality, reliability, security, and operational stability.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into effective data solutions.
Requirements
- 6-8+ years of relevant Data Engineering experience.
- Hands-on expertise in Azure / Microsoft Fabric, including ADF, Fabric Pipelines, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, and Notebooks.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, PySpark, and Spark.
- Strong database knowledge covering SQL Server / Azure SQL, including database design, complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
- Experience with Azure Data Lake, ETL/ELT, Delta Lake, CDC, incremental loads, and data warehousing.
- Experience with CI/CD, Git, deployment, troubleshooting, and production support.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
