Senior Data Engineer

You will build and maintain data pipelines, integrate external data, develop product and internal applications, enhance blockchain reporting and reconciliation, improve data quality and near-real-time processing, and create self-service data tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines
• Integrate external data sources
• Develop applications for customer-facing products and internal systems
• Enhance blockchain reporting infrastructure and automated reconciliation systems
• Ensure data quality and auditability
• Optimize data systems for near-real-time processing
• Develop self-service data tools
• Research and prototype data-engineering technologies

Requirements

• Computer Science engineering degree or equivalent
• 6+ years of combined software engineering and data engineering experience
• TypeScript, Node.js, or Python experience
• Postgres or MySQL experience
• RESTful API design experience
• Data pipeline and ETL experience
• Data warehouse and data modeling experience
• Systems design and event-driven systems experience
• Kafka experience
• Unit and functional testing and debugging experience
• Microservices and service-oriented architecture experience
• Git, GitHub, CI, JIRA, and Confluence experience
• Availability for on-call rotations
