Key Responsibilities

  • Designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines for processing large and complex datasets
  • Developing and optimising database structures, data models, and querying strategies
  • Working with high‑volume datasets to ensure data availability, accuracy, and performance
  • Performing data wrangling and preprocessing to prepare data for analysis and modelling
  • Applying feature engineering techniques to enhance model performance
  • Supporting or collaborating on the development, testing, and evaluation of machine learning models

Job Experience and Skills Required

  • 3+ years' experience in data science or data‑focused engineering roles
  • Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Strong programming skills in Python and Java
  • Solid expertise in database design, data modelling, and querying
  • Proven experience with SQL and working with large datasets
  • Hands‑on exposure to:
    • Data wrangling and preprocessing
    • Feature engineering
    • Model evaluation techniques
