Senior Data Engineer | Remote UK

Our client is a fast-growing consumer tech company, and they're hiring a Senior Data Engineer to help scale the data platform behind decision-making across the business. What you'll be doing

  • Building and maintaining scalable pipelines in Python, SQL, Snowflake, Dagster, dbt and AWS
  • Owning projects end to end, from ingestion through to analytics

  • Contributing to CDC and lower-latency data work
  • Code reviews, pairing and supporting more junior engineers

What they're looking for

  • Strong senior-level data engineering with solid software engineering habits
  • Confident Python and SQL in production
  • Experience with Snowflake, dbt, Dagster or Airflow, and AWS
  • Pragmatic data modelling and a real care for data quality
  • Startup or scale-up background, comfortable with ambiguity
  • Iceberg, CDC or streaming is a bonus

What's on offer

  • £85,000 - £100,000, fully remote within the UK
  • Private health insurance, income protection and salary sacrifice schemes
  • Extra holiday with tenure
