These projections will help government, local communities and business understand and adapt to the impacts of climate change.

The CSI sits within the Climate Adaptation Branch of the Climate Change Division. Its key objectives include coordinating state-wide implementation of the Strategy, providing climate adaptation advice to stakeholders, and collaborating with other Australian states, territories and the Commonwealth to adjust to the impacts of climate change.

This role requires leadership in the development and delivery of climate projection data to internal and external stakeholders, and uses highly analytical skills to research and design solutions with complex climate datasets.
