Senior Data Engineer

We are seeking a highly technical Data Engineer to manage and optimize the TPMM Backend. This role is dedicated to the "engine room" of our analytics ecosystem. You will be responsible for the stability and performance of multi-dimensional data sources, ensuring that the backend infrastructure seamlessly supports large-scale analytical processing.

• Start Date: May / Mid-May 2026.

• Duration: 3-month trial period with a strong potential for long-term extension.

• Location: Remote / Hybrid (CET).

• Focus: Backend performance and multi-dimensional modeling

Responsibilities

• Backend Management: Maintaining and optimizing the TPMM Backend environment.

• OLAP Modeling: Designing and managing OLAP Cubes (multidimensional models) to ensure data consistency.

• Query Optimization: Writing and tuning complex MDX (Multi-Dimensional Expressions) and SQL queries.

• Database Maintenance: Ensuring high performance and stability of MS SQL Server environments.

Requirements

• SQL Expert: Deep experience with MS SQL Server and complex database management.

• Multi-Dimensional Mastery: Proven experience with MDX and OLAP Cubes (SSAS).

• Data Architecture: Strong understanding of data warehousing principles and ETL/ELT processes.

• Wildcard Skill: Knowledge of modern cloud data warehousing or performance tuning in high-load systems is a significant plus.
