Summary

Senior Data Engineer builds scalable data platforms on Databricks and cloud engines to power analytics and decision-making for clients and partners.

Location: Malaga

Other locations: Primary Location Only

We are looking for a technology‑savvy specialist to drive our projects on a new track, working with a global team across Azure, GCP, and AWS.

Build data platforms to enable clients and partners to make efficient decisions.
Design robust solutions on state‑of‑the‑art data engines such as Databricks.
Participate in cross‑functional initiatives and collaborate with engineers, product/project managers, and partners worldwide.

3‑4 years of experience in Data Engineering.
3 years of experience with Databricks, including services like data pipelines and Unity Catalog.
3 years of experience in Big Data.
Proficiency in SQL, Python, and PySpark.
Background in data warehousing, ETL, distributed data processing, software‑engineering components, and data‑modeling concepts.
Analytical problem‑solving skills for large‑scale data environments.
Experience working with structured, semi‑structured, and unstructured data.
Experience with at least one public cloud (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
Strong knowledge of relational and non‑relational database design techniques.
Understanding of Data Marts, Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, and Data Mesh.
Very good English (verbal and written).
Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.), DevOps, and CI/CD principles.
