We're looking for a Senior Data Engineer with strong consulting capability and deep expertise in Snowflake and dbt to help our clients build modern, scalable data platforms.
What You'll Bring
- 8+ years' experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, or Data Architecture.
- Significant proven hands-on experience with Snowflake and dbt in production environments.
- Advanced Snowflake capability across architecture, security, governance, data sharing, performance tuning, and workload optimisation
- Strong experience developing dbt transformations, models, macros, testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines
- Proven delivery of enterprise-scale cloud data platforms from design through to production support
- Strong SQL, data modelling, and modern analytics architecture expertise
- Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, or similar cloud data technologies
- Strong consulting, communication, and stakeholder-management skills
- Experience leading business and technical workshops
- The ability to work across multiple clients and engagements
- Must be based in Auckland or Wellington, with the flexibility to visit client sites when required
