Senior Data Engineer, Delivery Centre- London, Leeds, Manchester or Newcastle

As a Senior Data Engineer in Credera’s Delivery Centre, you lead delivery efforts for long-term client partnerships, collaborating with architects and delivery leaders to drive engineering excellence. You mentor junior engineers, coordinate multiple workstreams, and raise standards across the team. You help shape data platforms and cloud-based capabilities while ensuring delivery quality, cost, and schedule. • Lead significant areas of delivery or multiple workstreams with minimal supervision
• Coordinate with client directors, delivery leads, and cross-functional teams
• Act as primary escalation point for delivery and operational matters
• Coach and mentor junior engineers and teams
• Set and elevate delivery standards; continuously improve processes
• Anticipate and mitigate delivery risks; ensure continuity and stability
• Leverage internal networks to connect teams with the right expertise
• Support live service within a standard Service Management environment

• Strong collaboration and relationship-building across delivery teams, leadership, and stakeholders
• Back-end / data engineering experience across multiple languages (including Python)
• Experience with batch or micro-batch ETL on AWS or Azure ETL services
• Experience querying data on AWS S3 or via Lakehouse capabilities
• Experience with API-level and database connectivity
• Experience using Gitlab for source control and DevOps tooling
• Experience with Terraform (or similar cloud-native products) to build data & analytics capabilities
• Experience supporting live service in a Service Management environment
• Proven track record of leading delivery areas or multiple workstreams to time, cost, and quality with minimal supervision
• Experience leading multiple teams or pods and acting as escalation point
• Ability to drive delivery efficiency and quality through process improvements
• Ability to anticipate and mitigate delivery risks with structured analysis
• Recognition as a subject matter expert or trusted operational lead
• Active SC clearance required
