Senior Data Engineer
Summary
Senior Data Engineer on the Recovery Data Management team, bridging business requirements with technology to deliver scalable, reliable data models and pipelines. Day-to-day work centers on SQL, Python, Snowflake, dbt, and Airflow, with API integrations, CI/CD, and automated testing.
Summary: The role involves joining the Recovery Data Management team to enhance data solutions related to the Recovery domain. The main objective is to bridge business requirements with technology solutions, ensuring scalable and reliable data handling.
Responsibilities:
Gather and analyze business requirements.
Design, develop, and maintain data models and resilient data pipelines.
Take ownership of deliveries from requirements through implementation, testing, and production deployment.
Build solutions using SQL, Python, Snowflake, dbt, and Airflow.
Integrate data through enterprise APIs and other data sources.
Drive automation and apply modern engineering practices, including CI/CD and automated testing.
Ensure long-term maintainability, stability, and reliability of delivered solutions.
Must Haves:
Minimum 4 years of experience in Data Engineering and Data Warehousing.
Strong hands-on experience with SQL and Python.
Proven experience with Snowflake, dbt, and Airflow.
Strong data modelling skills and experience designing scalable resilient data pipelines.
Experience with API integrations and modern data architectures.
Solid software engineering practices including Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and DevOps ways of working.
Nice to Have:
Familiarity with cloud-based data solutions.
Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards.
Experience with agile methodologies and collaborative development processes.
