Senior Data Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to handle requests end-to-end, from technical analysis to production deployment and user support, with a high level of autonomy. You will contribute to the industrialization of data processes and collaborate closely with business stakeholders in an agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Participation in business workshops to refine requirements depending on data sources
• Write SQL queries to feed datasets or validate data
• Pipeline management and monitoring
• Contribute to the industrialization of data processes with DBT and Python jobs
• Maintenance, bug fixing and continuous improvement of reports in production
• Dashboard and dataset monitoring along with alert setup
• Collaborate with other team members on Snowflake layers
• Rigorous management of JIRA tickets and continuous documentation
• Handle UAT feedback and Level 1 user support
• Active participation in the agile team without a Scrum Master

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience with a Bachelor's to Master's degree in Computer Science, Data or related field
• Proficiency in SQL including view creation and query optimization
• Expertise in Azure Data Factory, Snowflake and DBT
• Skills in Python for occasional scripts, data prep or APIs
• Knowledge of monitoring techniques including auto-refresh and anomaly detection
• Familiarity with Git, JIRA and Confluence
• Strong communication and listening skills with business stakeholders
• Proactive in analysis and identifying optimization opportunities
• Attention to detail, clear documentation and proactive request management
• Autonomy in managing business needs, feedback and validations
• Agile mindset and initiative-taking
• Interest in cross-functional work and taking responsibility
• Appetite for industrial and heterogeneous data environments
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Power BI including DAX, M and performance tuning
• Capability to use Databricks
