What you’ll lead & influence
- Design, build and optimise scalable data pipelines and architectures in a cloud environment
- Develop high‑performance SQL and maintainable Python for ingestion, transformation and analytics
- Enable AI and machine‑learning use cases by preparing high‑quality, well‑structured data
- Work closely with analytics and data science teams to support self‑service reporting and insights
- Champion data engineering best practices, performance optimisation and data quality standards
- 4+ years’ experience in Data Engineering or a closely related role
- Proficiency with Python and SQL
- Experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake or similar)
- Exposure to Sigma and/or Snowflake Cortex is a significant plus
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment where priorities evolve
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Auckland Central location with hybrid working
