This is a senior, hands-on data engineering role with real influence. You’ll help accelerate the organisation’s data and AI roadmap by designing scalable, reliable data foundations that support advanced analytics, reporting, and emerging AI use cases.
Your work will directly enable data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to move faster and make better decisions.
What you’ll lead & influence
- Design, build and optimise scalable data pipelines and architectures in a cloud environment
- Develop high-performance SQL and maintainable Python for ingestion, transformation and analytics
- Enable AI and machine-learning use cases by preparing high-quality, well-structured data
- Work closely with analytics and data science teams to support self-service reporting and insights
- Champion data engineering best practices, performance optimisation and data quality standards
What you bring
- 4+ years’ experience in Data Engineering or a closely related role
- Proficiency with Python and SQL
- Experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake or similar)
- Exposure to Sigma and/or Snowflake Cortex is a significant plus
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities evolve
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
