In this Senior Data Engineer role you shape a modern, cloud-based data platform on AWS for a finance-focused technology team. You will design and maintain scalable data pipelines and ingestion workflows, integrating diverse datasets into a unified architecture. Working closely with the Data Platform Engineer, you’ll optimize databases, improve data quality and governance, and ensure reliability at scale. This hands-on position offers impact across data engineering, database management and platform delivery, with a clear opportunity to influence data-driven decisions in a FinTech environment.

Responsibilities
  • design and maintain data pipelines and ingestion frameworks
  • support migration of datasets into unified data architecture

Key requirements
  • experience as a Data Engineer in financial data / market data environments
  • strong SQL and Python coding skills
  • strong AWS experience (Data Lakes and S3)
  • experience building and supporting large-scale data pipelines
  • experience with PostgreSQL
  • experience with time-series data (TimescaleDB or similar)
  • experience with orchestration platforms such as Dagster or Airflow
