Senior Data Engineer
Summary
Designs and builds data pipelines and analytics solutions using cloud tools like Azure Databricks and PySpark, and collaborates with teams to implement SAP-related data projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead/support teams in the technical development and for SAP engagements
- Hold sessions with end users and/or functional consultants to gather business requirements for technical development
- Deliver technical design based on the business requirements
- Develop technical design documents based on functional design documents
- Prepare quality deliverables as per designated project timelines
- Prepare unit test cases for technical components
- For support engagements, support end users in resolving the reported incidents within prescribed SLA
- Acts as liaison with client for troubleshooting issues faced during implementation and/or support - investigate, analyze and solve software problems
Qualifications
- At least 3-5 years experience with Data Engineering - includes extensive experience on data analytics, ingestion, migration and processing
- Hands on experience with Big Data or Cloud Data tools (Azure Databricks, AWS, PySpark)
- Exposure with AI or Machine Learning
- Experience with Python, Scala, or Hadoop
