Senior Data Engineer on a 6-month contract building Azure data pipelines and AI solutions using Data Factory, Data Lake, Fabric, Databricks/PySpark, and integrating Azure OpenAI/RAG/LLM capabilities with Power BI reporting.

Type: Contract( Comfortable with a 6-month contractual role)
Requires strong hands-Experience in AI and Data Engineering with strong expertise in Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, Agentic AI, RAG, LLMs, AutoGen, OCR, Databricks, PySpark, Python, Azure DevOps, and enterprise AI platforms. The role requires strong hands-on experience across SQL Server, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Microsoft Fabric, Logic Apps,Power BI, GitHub, and Data Modeling.
Required Skills:
• 10+ years of Software Engineering / Data Engineering experience.
• Strong SQL Server and T-SQL expertise.
• Strong experience working in the Azure environment.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory.
• Experience with Azure Data Lake.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and familiarity with OneLake.
• Experience with Azure Logic Apps and integration workflows.
• Experience with Power BI / Reporting.
• Strong Data Modeling and ETL/ELT experience.
• Experience with GitHub and CI/CD practices.
• Experience with REST API integrations, preferably with Dynamics 365.
• Strong troubleshooting and production support experience for enterprise applications.
