Senior Data Engineer - II
Summary
Builds and secures on-premises data pipelines and warehouses with Oracle Data Integrator, ensuring data quality and compliance for a government trade facilitation platform.
- Develop and implement ELT data pipelines using Oracle Data Integrator to extract, transform, and integrate data from multiple systems
- Design and develop efficient, scalable data models aligned to business needs
- Build and deploy on-premises data warehouses and data lakes using Oracle Data Integrator and related tools
- Develop and implement data security measures — encryption, access control — to protect data from unauthorized access and misuse
- Partner with stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions addressing data quality and security needs
- Conduct data analysis, build data visualizations, and troubleshoot data issues across integrated systems
- Maintain data documentation and stay current on emerging data technologies and trends

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred), with 4-5 years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in data transformation; Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) preferred
- Sound knowledge of security principles, procedures, and practices
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
- Strong SQL queries and data modelling concepts (mandatory)
