Senior Data Engineer in Risk Reporting
Summary
Build and maintain data models, ETL workflows, and reporting dashboards for credit risk in a large European bank, using Python, SAS, and Power BI.
Salary
The expected salary for: Senior Specialist position: 9 600– 18 000 PLN Expert position: 13 000 - 22 000 PLN The financial ranges specified in the announcement are adjusted and may differ from the range specified in the remuneration regulations.
Requirements
We are looking for you, if you have: master’s degree in Mathematics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics or alike, and/or equivalent experience of 3-5 years within data reporting, experience in data management including data modelling and data reporting solutions, hands‑on working experience with SAS4GL/Python, hands‑on working experience with one of the reporting tool: PowerBI/SASVisual Analytics/IBMCognos, good knowledge of English (C1 preferred), great communication skills, both verbal and written. You'll get extra points for: experience with DataWarehouse environment is a plus, experience with ETL data processing with different tools usage, affinity or experience with Business Lending and Consumer Lending (unsecured/mortgages) and Credit Risk Management.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities: Support of Data Marts creation, development of automated solutions, design and implement data models that support the organization’s analytical and reporting needs, Design and implement reporting dashboards based on the credit risk data, collaborate with data architects to optimize data structures and ensure scalability, building ETL workflows, preparation of functional and non-functional documentation.
Team & Location
Information about the team: We are looking for senior specialists / experts to join the squads in ING Hubs PL, working for reporting in Risk Areas located in Netherlands. The aim of the team is to modify existing processes to improve their effectiveness, efficiency and implement changes related to technologies that are currently used. Ultimately, unification of the processes, structures and environments. It is required to propose new solutions for data processing. In addition, collecting, analyzing and documenting business requirements. We work in an international environment, we use English on a daily basis (written and spoken). The role naming convention in the global ING job architecture will be “Data Management Expert III” or “Data Management Expert IV”.
