Senior Data Engineer | Informatica Developer | ETL | Snowflake
Summary
Build and maintain enterprise-scale ETL pipelines and data warehouses using Informatica, Snowflake, and SQL, while optimizing performance and ensuring data integrity.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in Data Integration, ETL, Informatica, and Snowflake to design and develop scalable enterprise data solutions.
This role is ideal for an experienced Data Engineer or ETL professional who has built complex data pipelines and data warehouse applications using Informatica PowerCenter/Informatica Cloud, DataStage, Snowflake, and advanced SQL.
You will work with modern data platforms and collaborate with cross-functional technology teams to build reliable, high-performing, and scalable data integration solutions.
What You’ll Do
Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-scale ETL and data integration solutions.
Build and enhance data pipelines using Informatica PowerCenter / Informatica Cloud and DataStage.
Develop and maintain data warehousing solutions using Snowflake and DBT.
Write complex and optimized SQL queries for data transformation, integration, and analysis.
Design scalable ETL workflows based on data warehousing and data modeling best practices.
Develop and maintain batch scheduling and workflow automation using Control-M.
Use UNIX/Shell scripting and Python to automate data processing and operational activities.
Perform performance tuning across ETL processes, Informatica workflows, SQL queries, and databases.
Troubleshoot data pipeline failures, identify root causes, and resolve data integration issues.
Implement data quality checks and support data governance, metadata management, and data integrity initiatives.
Work with relational databases including Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL.
Collaborate with Data Architects, Data Engineers, Analysts, and business stakeholders in an Agile/Scrum environment.
What We’re Looking For
6+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Integration, ETL Development, or Data Warehousing.
Strong hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter and/or Informatica Cloud.
Hands-on experience with DataStage or similar enterprise ETL technologies.
Strong experience developing data warehouse solutions using Snowflake.
Experience with DBT for data transformation is highly preferred.
Advanced SQL skills, including complex data transformations, data analysis, and query optimization.
Strong understanding of Data Warehousing, Data Modeling, and ETL architecture and design principles.
Experience with Control-M or similar enterprise scheduling tools.
Working knowledge of UNIX/Shell scripting.
Experience with Python scripting for data processing and automation is an advantage.
Strong experience in ETL and database performance tuning and optimization.
Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and data quality practices.
Experience working with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP is an advantage.
Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
