Senior Data Engineer
Responsibilities
Define, document, and continuously evolve Data Governance and Data Quality frameworks, standards, policies, processes, and guidelines, aligned with the organization’s data strategy.
Define methodologies, dimensions, rules, metrics, KPIs, and Data Quality monitoring processes, including mechanisms for identifying, tracking, and resolving data quality issues.
Definition of Data Governance standards and guidelines.
Plan and execute Data Governance and Data Quality initiatives, from requirements definition and solution design through to implementation, adoption, and monitoring of results.
Definition and monitoring of Data Governance and Data Quality KPIs and reporting.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Skills
Degree in Computer Science or in similar areas.
Solid knowledge of Data Governance and Data Quality practices, frameworks, and processes.
Experience with Data Ownership, Data Stewardship, Business Glossary, Data Catalog, Data Lineage, and Data Quality processes.
Knowledge of databases and analytics technologies, including Data Lake, Lakehouse, and NoSQL storage architectures.
Experience with at least one Cloud platform: Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
Proven experience with Microsoft Fabric and Databricks
Experience working in collaborative environments and with multidisciplinary or global teams.
Strong commitment to delivery quality.
Fluent in English - written and spoken (mandatory).
