Summary
Senior Data Engineer placed with a Federal Government client, working on-site in Canberra, Brisbane, Melbourne or Adelaide. Day to day involves data modelling, analysis and profiling, plus cleansing and QA of complex datasets, using tools such as Teradata, Cloudera Data Platform and ideally Red Hat OpenShift.
One of our Federal Government clients is looking for Senior Data Engineer in Canberra, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide.
We are looking for the following Skills/Experience:
- Data modelling techniques (relational, dimensional, messaging and big data), data analysis and profiling using modern analytical tools and programming languages, and visualisation methods and tools.
- Experience with one or more of the following - Teradata, Cloudera Data Platform.
- Experience in implementing solutions on Red Hat Open shift platforms is highly desirable.
- Best-practice data cleansing, validation, quality assurance and feature preparation techniques for complex datasets.
