Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data solutions supporting BI and advanced analytics. The role will work closely with business and IT stakeholders on data pipelines, data warehousing, data migration, and data quality initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Design and maintain scalable data pipelines, data marts, and data warehouse solutions.
Analyze and transform internal and external data for BI and advanced analytics.
Develop and maintain data platforms using AWS and Snowflake.
Execute data migration from existing databases to the enterprise data warehouse.
Build analytical tools and prototypes to support business requirements.
Improve data quality, reliability, and accessibility.
Perform data platform housekeeping and maintenance.
Promote data engineering standards, best practices, and Agile methodologies.
Qualifications
3 - 6 years of experience in data engineering or a related role; financial industry experience preferred.
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related quantitative field.
AWS Data Engineer Specialty or AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification.
Snowflake SnowPro Core Certification.
Strong experience with Snowflake, PostgreSQL, MS SQL, AWS Glue, AWS RDS, and AWS Fargate.
Advanced programming skills in Python and/or Java.
Strong knowledge of ETL, data warehousing, BI, data modeling, and advanced analytics.
Experience with Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
