Senior Data Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing data processing solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) technologies. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and optimizing data workflows. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain data processing pipelines using GCP services such as Dataflow and BigQuery. - Implement data transformation processes using Apache Beam and dbt to ensure data accuracy and reliability. - Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality datasets. - Optimize data storage solutions using Cloud Storage (GCS) and ensure efficient data retrieval. - Write complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data as needed. - Utilize programming languages such as Python or Java to automate data workflows and enhance data processing capabilities. - Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance, implementing improvements as necessary. - Stay updated with the latest GCP features and best practices to continuously improve data engineering processes. Required Skills: - Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its data services. - Proficiency in Dataflow and Apache Beam for data processing. - Experience with Cloud Storage (GCS) and data storage solutions. - Familiarity with dbt (Data Build Tool) for data transformation. - Expertise in BigQuery for data analysis and querying. - Strong SQL skills for data manipulation and extraction. - Proficient in programming languages such as Python or Java. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
