Designs and builds scalable data pipelines and Lakehouse models using Microsoft Fabric, Delta Lake, SQL, and PySpark to modernize analytics and reporting for NZ Customs.
NZ Customs is modernising its analytics and reporting platform, applying Microsoft Fabric to ingest, transform and model data for enterprise insights. You will design scalable data pipelines, build Lakehouse/warehouse models using Delta Lake, SQL and PySpark, and support Power BI reporting outputs.
As a Senior Data Engineer, you will help migrate from legacy IBM IIS/DataStage to Fabric-native solutions, mentor team members, and work with analysts and stakeholders to deliver trusted data products
