Morson Edge are exclusively supporting a leading UK consultancy on a critical AWS Lakehouse transformation that needs experienced engineers to get it back on track.
As part of this programme, we're looking for experienced Senior Data Engineers to join a highly technical delivery team working alongside a Lead Data Architect.
This isn't a greenfield build, it's a genuine engineering challenge where you'll influence architecture, modernise data pipelines and help deliver a production-ready AWS data platform.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Designing, building and optimising scalable data pipelines across the AWS ecosystem.
- Driving the migration towards a modern Lakehouse architecture.
- Identifying and resolving technical debt within existing data pipelines.
- Working closely with engineering teams to improve delivery standards and share best practices.
- Supporting platform stabilisation and helping deliver key programme milestones.
- Collaborating with the Lead Data Architect to implement the target-state data platform.
What We're Looking For:
We're looking for engineers who have experience delivering enterprise-scale cloud data platforms and enjoy solving complex technical challenges.
You'll must have:
- Strong commercial experience with AWS data technologies including S3, Glue, Redshift and Lake Formation.
- Excellent Python and SQL development skills.
- Experience working with large-scale, high-volume or regulated data environments.
- Previous experience within the betting, gambling or iGaming industry is essential.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively alongside client engineering teams.
