Senior Data Engineer

We’re hiring a Senior Data Engineer for a global tech company client to own, optimise, and scale their multi-brand enterprise data platform. If you're a high-trust self-starter who excels at taking raw analytics requirements and building rock-solid data models, this role is for you.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain and scale production data pipelines using a modern stack (Google BigQuery, dbt, Fivetran).
• Partner with stakeholders to build scalable dimensional data models for business-critical analytics.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise BigQuery performance and cloud warehouse costs.
• Ensure high data quality, governance, and operational reliability across all datasets.

What You Need

• Advanced SQL Mastery (Must-Have): Expert-level capability writing, tuning, and optimizing complex analytical SQL for high-volume, production environments.
• Core Tech Stack: 5+ years of Data/Analytics Engineering experience with Google BigQuery and dbt.
• Data Architecture: Strong background in ELT tools (Fivetran), dimensional modeling, and data warehousing principles.
• Ownership: Ability to troubleshoot issues, communicate with business partners, and manage end-to-end data deliverables independently.
