Senior Data Engineer
Summary
Contract Senior Data Engineer (up to 12 months) for a long-term Federal Government engagement in Australia (QLD, ACT, VIC, SA), onsite initially then hybrid. Designs enterprise-scale data pipelines and warehouses using Python, SQL, Spark, Teradata/Cloudera and OpenShift; an active NV1 security clearance is required.

- Git, CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Automated testing and secure coding practices
You’ll work across complex data environments, designing and delivering scalable data solutions while engaging with business and technical stakeholders.
Ideal candidates will have 3-5+ years of relevant data engineering experience and strong experience delivering enterprise-scale data solutions.
Security Clearance: An active NV1 security clearance is required for this opportunity.
The successful candidate will initially be expected to work onsite, with hybrid arrangements potentially available after the first 6 weeks.
