The Opportunity
We're looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our Business Intelligence team and help build scalable, cloud‑based data solutions.
You'll work across a modern stack, delivering end‑to‑end data pipelines, models, and analytics capabilities, while uplifting data quality and driving automation across the business.
This is a hands‑on, high‑impact role ideal for someone passionate about modern data engineering, cloud platforms, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable data pipelines (ETL/ELT)
- Develop and maintain data models for analytics and reporting
- Ensure data quality, reliability and governance
- Automate data workflows in a cloud‑first environment
- Troubleshoot and optimise data performance issues
- Collaborate with BI, IT, and business stakeholders
- Contribute to data platform architecture and best practices
Must-Have Skills & Experience
Strong hands‑on experience with:
- Snowflake
- DBT
- AWS Serverless Data Lake Framework
- Advanced SQL and data modelling skills
- Experience working in cloud‑based data environments
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- 4+ years’ experience in Data Engineering / BI
Nice to Have
- Exposure to CI/CD, DevOps or DataOps practices
- Experience with GitLab or similar platforms
- Domain experience in finance, retail, or supply chain
