Senior Data Engineer - Paris - Hybrid
Summary
Senior Data Engineer contracted via Global Enterprise Partners to a global consumer healthcare leader, building a centralized, historized Databricks data platform measuring ~300 brand websites. Day to day: designing data models, pipelines, and semantic layers with Databricks, dbt, Airflow, and CI/CD on a 3-month hybrid contract in Paris.
For a global leader in consumer healthcare, we are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join a transformation project. This role will be instrumental in building a centralized, historized data platform that enables the business to measure and optimize the performance of approximately 300 brand websites globally.
You will take ownership of the design, architecture, and delivery of a strategic data platform within Databricks, integrating data from multiple digital and engagement-related sources.
The Role
- Design and build data models, pipelines, and semantic layers in Databricks.
- Develop ETL/ELT processes and integrate data from multiple sources.
- Define architecture using Databricks, dbt, and Apache Airflow.
- Support data quality, testing, documentation, Git, and CI/CD practices.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Key Skills
- 7+ years in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, or Data Modelling.
- Strong hands-on experience with Databricks.
- Expert knowledge of SQL and Python.
- Experience with dbt, Apache Airflow, and ETL/ELT frameworks.
- Knowledge of data warehousing, historized models, Git, and CI/CD.
- Strong communication skills and Agile experience.
Nice to Have
- Power BI, GitHub Copilot, AI-assisted development, RAG, digital analytics, or website data experience.
- French language skills
