About the project
We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join a project within the pharmaceutical industry. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data solutions that support advanced analytics and business decision-making. You will contribute to the development of a modern data platform used across diverse markets and business environments, helping to deliver high-quality, data-driven solutions on a global scale.
Your responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a modern Data Engineering platform supporting data-driven business processes and analytics
- Design and implement scalable data engineering solutions using modern Python development practices
- Build reliable and maintainable data pipelines following object-oriented design principles
- Collaborate with agile, cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
- Support platform migrations, enhancements, and integrations across evolving business environments
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues within existing data and processing pipelines
Our requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Engineering or related fields
- Strong Python development skills, including object-oriented programming, design patterns, and data processing with Pandas
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Glue, Athena, DynamoDB, Lambda, and Step Functions
- Solid understanding of cloud-based architectures and scalable data engineering solutions
- Experience working in Agile teams and using modern software development and project management practices
- Advanced level of English
