Summary
Senior Data Engineer (6-9 yrs) working from the Bangalore office to design scalable AWS data architectures, build ETL pipelines with Glue and Lambda, and power storage and real-time analytics on Redshift, Kinesis, and EMR, with Data Vault modeling and data governance.
Location – Bangalore (WFO)
Experience – 6-9 Years
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data architectures leveraging AWS services and data modeling techniques such as Data Vault.
- Collaborate with data engineers and data scientists to create and optimize ETL processes for data ingestion and transformation using AWS Glue and Lambda.
- Implement data storage solutions using Amazon Redshift and other AWS data services, ensuring performance and cost-effectiveness.
- Utilize AWS Kinesis and EMR to support real-time data processing and analytics.
- Establish data governance protocols to ensure the quality, integrity, and security of our data assets.
- Partner with stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into effective data solutions.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
- Demonstrated expertise as a Data Architect or in a similar role within a data engineering environment.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex problems systematically.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Clear communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to various audiences.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with DevOps practices to facilitate the deployment of data solutions.
- Proficiency in AWS services, particularly AWS Glue, DBT, Airflow, Redshift, Kinesis, and EMR.
- Familiarity with data governance frameworks and data integrity checks.
- Solid understanding of ETL processes and best practices in data integration.
- Knowledge of data modeling techniques, primarily Data Vault.
