We’re partnering with a leading global consumer products organisation looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join a high-impact Data & AI initiative in Mexico City.

This role will sit at the intersection of Data Engineering, Generative AI and Social Analytics, using large volumes of real-world consumer and social data to build AI-driven solutions that automate processes and provide more accurate insight into brand, marketing and content performance.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Design and build scalable data pipelines to ingest, process, classify and transform large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
• Develop Agentic AI / GenAI solutions that use business data to automate manual analytical processes and workflows.
• Build an AI-driven solution to automatically identify and filter irrelevant social media data, improving the accuracy of brand and content-performance analytics.
• Work with data from platforms including TikTok and Instagram, using NLP and contextual analysis to differentiate genuine brand/product engagement from unrelated mentions.
• Develop solutions that enable teams to gain more meaningful insight into social engagement, consumer behaviour and marketing performance.
• Partner with Data, AI, Analytics and business stakeholders to take solutions from initial use case through to production implementation.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong commercial experience in Data Engineering, ideally alongside Data Science, Machine Learning or AI.
• Strong hands-on Python and SQL expertise.
• Experience designing and building production data pipelines and working with high-volume datasets.
• Commercial experience with Generative AI, Agentic AI, LLMs and/or AI-driven automation.
• Experience applying NLP, text classification, semantic/contextual analysis or similar techniques to unstructured data.
• Social media analytics, social listening, marketing analytics or consumer-data experience is highly desirable.
• Strong stakeholder-facing skills with the ability to translate business problems into scalable Data & AI solutions.
• Must be bilingual in Spanish and English.
• Must be able to work in Mexico City.
