Requirements:- Previous experience as a Senior or Lead Data Engineer, with strong hands-on data modelling expertise
- Proficiency in SQL and Python
- Proficiency with a modern cloud data platform such as Microsoft Fabric, Azure, Databricks or Snowflake
- Experience setting architecture and standards for pipeline engineering and data modelling
- Experience in a regulated industry (desirable)
- Previous technical experience with Microsoft Fabric (desirable)
- Experience building or scaling an engineering function from a small team (desirable)
- Experience establishing data testing and CI/CD practices (desirable)
- Set the technical strategy and architecture for the data platform
- Line-manage and develop a team of Data Engineers
- Own the platforms reliability, scalability and cost end to end
- Lead the technical strategy and delivery of the data and analytics engineering function on a Microsoft Fabric platform
