Senior Data Engineer

We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our BI & Analytics team and help build our next-generation analytics platform. You will work on cloud-based data solutions, support our analytics modernization journey, and help deliver trusted datasets and dashboards that enable data-driven decision making across the business. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in SQL and data engineering who is excited to learn modern AWS technologies, Amazon QuickSight, and AI-assisted development tools such as Kiro, GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q, or similar platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using AWS services.
• Build and optimize datasets for reporting and analytics.
• Support the migration of reporting solutions to Amazon QuickSight.
• Develop and maintain data models, data marts, and reporting datasets.
• Ensure data accuracy, reliability, and quality across analytics solutions.
• Troubleshoot data issues and continuously improve existing processes.
• Collaborate with business users, analysts, and technology teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve development productivity and code quality.
• Contribute to data engineering best practices, documentation, and automation initiatives.
• Mentor and train junior data engineers for skills development and performance improvement.

About you

• 2-5 years of experience in Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, or Analytics development.
• Experience with Python or another scripting language.
• Understanding of data warehousing and data modeling concepts.
• Experience working with cloud technologies or willingness to learn AWS.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
