Its capabilities include data science, software development, network engineering, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR), and logistics. **Job Description** SOSi is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to support a US government customer in Chantilly, VA. This role, requires working with a team of developers, data scientists, SMEs, and cyber analysts to design, develop, build, and analyze data management systems. The data engineer will work with and analyze our client's challenges and provide solutions by designing and implementing batch and streaming data pipelines. **Essential Job Duties** + Develop and perform ETL on large unstructured datasets. + Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for data and platform services. **Qualifications** **Minimum Requirements** + Active in-scope TS/SCI clearance with poly. This security clearance requires U.S. citizenship. Candidates will not be nominated for new clearances. + 5-7 years of experience as a Data Engineer (or equivalent), with a STEM degree (field such as computer science, statistics, data analytics, computer engineering, mathematics, etc.). + Experience with services including Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, and Prefect + Experience containerizing applications using Docker and deployments on Kubernetes + ??Familiarity with Linux-based systems + Solid understanding of DevOps principles (automation, monitoring, reliability) **Preferred Qualifications** + Experience in the US Intelligence Community. **Additional Information** **Work Environment** + Office setting with a combination of desk work and meetings. **Working at SOSi** All interested individuals will receive consideration and will not be discriminated against for any reason.
