Senior Data Engineer
Summary
Designs and implements data pipelines and ML models to power SaaS products and guide business decisions using Python, cloud platforms, and Kubernetes.

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join a growing SaaS business investing in Data decision making as they expand their product offering. Their products reach a massive customer base, so applications from candidates who've worked on large data sets across a global customer base are preferred.
The Senior Data engineer will play a key role in the development and implementation of data and machine learning algorithms to facilitate new product design and shape relevant decision making across the business.
This company offer flexible hybrid working with 1-2 days per week in their offices, which are commutable from Basingstoke, Farnborough areas.
Required skills and technologies
- 5+ years’ experience in a Data Engineering, Data Science, Machine Learning, or similar role
- Full cycle, end to end Data model / Predictive model development, working with software engineers and product managers
- Ability to communicate effectively across multiple teams, senior management, and non-tech stakeholders
- AWS or GCP, Cloud ML/AI, Python, Kubernetes skill set
- Experience of leading projects is desirable
