Summary
A senior (8+ years) data engineer in Hyderabad working hybrid on a 2–11 pm IST shift: writing and optimizing complex SQL, reviewing data models and view logic, and validating AI-generated outputs, ideally with Snowflake and Snowflake Cortex experience, serving US clients.

Work Mode: Hybrid - (Remote as per BU Head / RM discretion; as long as the person is trusted, committed and invests in learning client business / technical process for 2-3 months)

Job Description:
Technical Skills
- Strong expertise in SQL, with the ability to write, optimize, and validate complex queries.
- Solid understanding of Data Warehousing concepts, Data Modeling, and analytical data structures.
- Ability to review and evaluate existing data models, business logic, and underlying view definitions.
- Strong analytical skills to understand business requirements and translate them into effective AI prompts and technical solutions.
- Experience with Snowflake is highly preferred, including familiarity with Snowflake Cortex and AI powered capabilities.
- Ability to independently validate AI generated outputs by writing and testing SQL queries to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Professional Skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Should have US client experience in the last 5 years. (Must have)
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Must be available full time and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrates a high level of ownership, accountability, and responsibility for assigned deliverables.
- Ability to understand requirements quickly, ask the right questions, and drive tasks to completion.
