Important IT company At the Latin American level, growth requires: Senior Data Engineer - Talend Experience: Senior-level Data Engineering Focus: Talend, ETL/ELT, Data Integration, SQL We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Talend and data integration. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing, developing, and supporting scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and data solutions in production environments. The role requires strong technical problem-solving skills, experience with modern DevOps practices, and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Talend .
- Integrate data from multiple systems and sources to support business and analytics requirements.
- Develop and optimize data transformation and integration processes.
- Troubleshoot complex data and pipeline issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Ensure data pipelines are reliable, maintainable, testable, and production-ready.
- Participate in code reviews and follow development and data engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with technical and business teams to understand requirements and deliver data solutions.
- Support deployments, releases, and production environments.
Mandatory Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Talend for ETL/data integration.
- Strong experience developing and supporting production-grade data pipelines .
- Solid knowledge of SQL and data transformation concepts.
- Experience with Git and version control .
- Working knowledge of CI/CD, automated testing, release pipelines, and observability .
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills for complex data issues.
- Experience working with cross-functional technical and business teams.
Preferred Skills
- Experience developing Java-based applications .
- Experience with cloud data platforms or Big Data technologies.
- Experience with additional ETL/orchestration tools.
- Familiarity with data quality and monitoring practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Senior Data Engineer or similar role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical issues.
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- ADVANCED CONVERSATIONAL ENGLISH AND SPANISH ESSENTIAL (Will be evaluated).
- If you are a foreingner residing in Mexico, you must have a valid INE, CURP, NSS and RFC.

Salary : $90,000 gross.
