About the role
Senior Data Engineer & Automation Lead | Enterprise Environments (SAP & Databricks)
To achieve this, we are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with the autonomy to take charge of the company's data ingestion architecture and lead the implementation of new automation (n8n) and applied Artificial Intelligence solutions.
What you'll do
The Technical Challenge
Your main mission will be to optimize and scale the data layer that feeds the BI/Analytics department. You will be the technical bridge between business requirements and complex source systems, designing robust data pipelines towards modern environments such as Databricks.
What we're looking for
Experience: Minimum 4-5 years in data engineering and ETL development against complex transactional systems.
Core Tech Stack: Proficiency in Oracle databases and/or SAP environments (S/4HANA, SAP BW).
Databricks / Cloud Data: Practical experience in Databricks environments (PySpark, SQL, Delta Lake) or similar analytical platforms.
Automation: Knowledge of or interest in process automation tools (n8n, Power Automate, Make, Zapier).
Autonomy: Total ownership over developed solutions and excellent direct communication capacity with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Salary Range: 35,000 € - 45,000 € / year depending on experience

Intensive schedule on Fridays and flexible hours during the week.
Possibility of partial remote work (hybrid modality from Pamplona).
Space to lead innovation initiatives (n8n + applied AI) without micromanagement.

Location: Pamplona / Iruña (Navarra) - Hybrid/Part-time Format
Working Day: Full-time (Mon-Thu: 8:00 to 17:00 | Fri: 8:00 to 14:00 - Flexible schedule)

Your main responsibilities
Enterprise Ingestion and ETL: Design and implement extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes from complex environments such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW and Oracle databases.
Modern Data Stack: Work on Databricks environments, ensuring data preparation, cleaning, and high availability for the analytics and reporting team.
Automation Leadership: Lead the implementation, configuration, and rollout of n8n within the organization, integrating flows with corporate systems.
Applied AI Projects: Participate in initiatives where automation and data integration feed real-world AI use cases for the business.
Direct Liaison: Take requirements directly from the internal client and translate business needs into scalable and documented technical solutions.
