Key facts Location: Sydney, Sydney Region Engagement: Permanent, Hybrid (2-3 days in office) Compensation: $150,000 - $170,000

What you'll do

• Contribute to the development and enhancement of the cloud data platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data solutions meet business requirements.
• Design and implement data pipelines for efficient data processing and storage.
• Optimize existing data workflows for improved performance and reliability.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data systems to ensure high availability and performance.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with data modeling and database design.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly AWS or Azure.
• Familiarity with ETL processes and tools.
• Experience with programming languages such as Python or Java.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and technologies.

Nice to have

• Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop or Spark.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
